Soft, weightless, silent…oh, so purely silent. It’s cold, very cold, but it doesn’t really seem to bother you; you simply accept it. Time feels meaningless out here. For quite a while now, you have kept your eyes shut; you’re not entirely sure why, it just feels right, like opening them would be a transgression of sorts.

After many great lengths, curiosity gets the better of you.

Light begins to filter in as your eyelids gradually unseal themselves, opening to the stunning scene before you. A body of gas and cloud sits in waiting, millions of miles away, but so gargantuan as to seem touchable, even at such a distance. A glorious ring system orbits the planet, slicing through the inky blackness surrounding everything else.

You don’t remember how you got here or even how you’re alive…but for now, the beauty gracing your vision is more than enough to suffice.
